These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Pet Sitter Confessional website, podcast, articles, newsletters, videos, downloadable resources, and other content or services provided by Pet Sitter Confessional LLC (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pet Sitter Confessional is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from business decisions or professional practices undertaken in reliance on our content.

4. Intellectual Property and Ownership

Unless otherwise indicated, the original content produced by Pet Sitter Confessional, including podcast recordings, written articles, episode descriptions, transcripts, videos, graphics, branding, logos, and other original materials, is owned by Pet Sitter Confessional or used with permission from its respective rights holders.

The excerpt does not misrepresent the views of the hosts or guests.
The material is not sold, licensed, or incorporated into a paid product without permission.

This permission applies only to material for which Pet Sitter Confessional controls the necessary rights. It does not authorize the reuse of third-party music, images, or other material beyond the permissions granted by their respective owners.

You may not republish complete episodes, substantial portions of transcripts, or collections of our content as a competing publication, podcast, training product, or commercial resource without prior written authorization.

Nothing in these Terms restricts uses permitted under applicable copyright law, including fair use.

We reserve the right to withdraw the sharing permission described in this section for particular uses or users.

The opinions, statements, recommendations, and experiences expressed by guests belong to the individuals expressing them.

We do not independently verify every statement made by a guest and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of guest-provided information.

Guests remain responsible for their own statements and any third-party materials they provide, subject to applicable law and their separate agreements with us.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pet Sitter Confessional and its owners, hosts, employees, representatives, and agents shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services.

This includes, without limitation, lost profits, lost business opportunities, loss of data, business interruption, or other economic losses.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability for claims arising from or relating to the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid directly to Pet Sitter Confessional for the Services during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pet Sitter Confessional and its owners, employees, and representatives against third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses, including legal fees, arising from your unlawful use of the Services, infringement of another party's intellectual property rights, or material violation of these Terms.

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct or where indemnification is prohibited by applicable law.

15. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also subject to our separately published Privacy Policy.

That policy describes our practices concerning the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Missouri.

Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so that we may attempt to resolve the issue informally.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.
