About the hosts, Meghan & Collin!

We’re Collin and Meghan—pet care professionals, industry observers, and hosts of Pet Sitter Confessional.

Since 2012, we’ve built and operated a multi-employee dog walking and pet sitting business, served hundreds of pets, and connected with thousands of sitters and walkers around the world. Along the way, we discovered something important: pet care isn’t just a service industry—it’s a profession undergoing rapid change.

Our passion is helping pet sitters and dog walkers understand those changes and thrive in the middle of them.

We bring our experience, research, and conversations with industry leaders into every episode, offering clarity, context, and encouragement to pet pros who want to build sustainable, confident, and deeply meaningful businesses.

When we’re not hosting the podcast or caring for pets, we’re spending time with our two kids, exploring the outdoors, and continuing to learn how to serve this community well.

Our Mission: To equip dedicated pet care providers with the insight, tools, and community they need to grow resilient businesses and elevate the profession of pet sitting and dog walking.

Why Listen to Us?

We’ve spent more than a decade in the trenches—hiring, training, building systems, navigating clients, solving problems, and learning through real wins and real mistakes. But we don’t claim to be experts in everything.

Instead, we’ve positioned Pet Sitter Confessional as the table where the entire industry can gather.

A place where:

  • real stories are told,

  • current trends are examined,

  • challenges are unpacked, and

  • professionals can learn from one another.

We bring our perspective, but the strength of this podcast comes from the voices we feature—trainers, behaviorists, business owners, platform leaders, researchers, industry advocates, and pet sitters just like you.
