Release Form

This Guest Release (“Agreement”) confirms the understanding between the undersigned (“Guest”) and Collin and Meghan Funkhouser, producers of the Pet Sitter Confessional podcast (“Podcaster”), regarding Guest’s participation in the Program.

1. Grant of Rights

The Guest hereby consents to the recording and distribution of reproduction(s) of the Guest’s voice and performance as part of the media program entitled Pet Sitter Confessional (herein referred to as the “Program”).

The Guest acknowledges that Collin and Meghan Funkhouser (“Podcaster”) are the sole owners of all rights in and to the Program and all recordings thereof, for all purposes. Podcaster has the unrestricted right to use, exploit, and distribute the Program and the Guest’s performance as embodied therein, together with the Guest’s name, nickname, biographical sketch, photograph, or likeness (including, without limitation, any photographs or materials provided by Guest), in any and all media or formats, throughout the world, in perpetuity.

Any materials prepared in the course of producing or distributing the Program (“Materials”) become the sole property of Podcaster, and Podcaster shall have the exclusive right to use, exploit, and distribute such Materials worldwide and in perpetuity.

2. No Obligation to Use

Nothing in this Guest Release shall obligate Podcaster to use or exploit any of the rights granted, or to make, sell, license, distribute, or otherwise exploit the Program or Materials.

3. No Compensation

Guest understands and agrees that they shall receive no monetary compensation for appearance on or participation in the Program.

4. Promotional Use

Guest’s name, likeness, and photograph may be used in connection with the Program, and in advertising or promotional materials for the Program, but not as an endorsement of any product or service.

5. Release of Liability

Guest hereby releases and discharges Podcaster from any and all liability arising out of or in connection with the recording, production, reproduction, processing, exhibiting, distributing, publishing, or transmission by any means of the Program or Materials.

6. Acknowledgment

By signing below (or submitting this form electronically), Guest acknowledges that they have read and understood this Guest Release and agree to be bound by its terms.
